''American Pastoral'' is an upcoming American crime-drama film directed by Ewan McGregor, making his directorial debut, and written by John Romano and Noah Haidle. It is based on the 1997's novel of the same name by Philip Roth. The film stars McGregor, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Connelly, Rupert Evans, and Valorie Curry.
